what does being a part of yuvaah mean?
Staff writers and artists will contribute work to Yuvaah on a bimonthly basis, creating content in their chosen mediums that fits with our style and identity. Depending on the relevancy of the issue theme and the submission dates, work will be included as social media and issue submissions.

This is your opportunity to be a part of a publication made for youth where you can share your work with other creatives like you all around the world.
As these are voluntary positions they are a great way to improve resumes and college applications.

Graphic designer
Works with the editor in chief, creative consultants and other graphic designers to create magazine spreads for issues.
Creates visuals for social media and the yuvaah website.
Attends staff meetings, which will be held on zoom every few weeks to see how everyone is getting on with their pieces and if anyone needs any help with anything (time zones will be kept in mind).
Creative writer
Contributes personal essays and creative writing that demonstrate a unique perspective while illuminating broader themes

Fashion & Beauty + Culture & Entertainment writer
Conducts features and interviews with designers, stylists, creatives, and others, and creates opinion-based articles on personal cultural interests or current trends and events in fashion, media, and culture.

Creative Consultant
Provides ideas about themes for issues, gives creative direction to graphic designers making magazine spreads and offers to help with anything on the creative side.

Politics & Activism writer
Produces essay-based articles for magazine issues as well as the yuvaah website, as well as shorter pieces for the yuvaah instagram account, to raise awareness of global issues and topics that are not commonly discussed in mainstream media.
